Green Goldstone is actually a man made stone, composed of soda lime glass and copper particles. It was invented by the Miotti family in Venice during the seventeenth century, and is quite popular in Italy today. 

Green Goldstone has found its way into the metaphysical community because glass is made from quartz (silica) and infused with natural copper. Green Goldstone is said to be good for emotional healing as it opens your Heart Chakra. It is a good deflector of unwanted energies and promotes honesty, emotional balance and self acceptance.
