Dalmatian Jasper, better known as Dalmatian stone is typically found and mined in Chihuahua, Mexico. This distinctive gemstone was named "Dalmatian" due to its likeness of the dog breed. Known for its opaque white/tan background with brown and black spots, this gemstone has been used to create beads, cabochons, carvings and jewelry for many years.
Dalmatian Jasper is said to create a sense of playfulness and brings fun to those who wear it. It reminds us to enjoy the simple things in life and helps us to feel lighthearted. Also thought to help us let go of resentment, bitterness and feelings of restriction allowing us to immerse ourselves fully in the positive aspects of life.

I try to get the most accurate photo possible, but due to natural variations in the stones, and individual monitor settings, there may be slight variations in colors from the photo to the stone in hand. Many times the actual stone is much better than my photo, as the camera does not always cooperate with me!
