Chrysocolla is a highly sought after stone for its captivating blue and green coloring.  In ancient lore, the Egyptians called Chrysocolla the “Wise Stone of Conciliation”. As legend reports, those who wore this stone generally came up with clever compromises in all types of situations that outwardly appeared unbearable and impossible to negotiate. King Solomon of Israel was thought to have owned Copper mines in southern Israel and Africa, which also produced a beautiful blue-green stone, called the Stone of King Solomon. This stone was a combination of Chrysocolla, Malachite and Turquoise.
